Jonathan Mugmon specializes in the planning and design of wayfinding systems that communicate clearly and intuitively across complex environments. With more than thirty years of experience, he has led teams developing strategies for city and venue navigation systems worldwide. His early work includes city-scale projects such as strategies for Legible London, WalkNYC, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Google Headquarters. He has since directed wayfinding design for many of the world’s most recognized sports and event venues, including NFL, MLB, NHL, and NBA facilities, as well as for global events such as the Tokyo and Beijing Olympic Games, multiple Super Bowls, and the MSG Sphere in Las Vegas. His recent work includes major wayfinding strategies for the Los Angeles, Houston, and Orange County Convention Centers. Mugmon’s expertise in human-centered design and large-scale navigation has shaped projects for cities, stadiums, museums, convention centers, and urban districts worldwide.
